FAQs
What services do you offer?
Individual sex therapy, relationship therapy, and general counselling. I tailor sessions to you—whether you want to explore your sexuality, navigate intimacy, work on desire or pleasure, or just have a space to talk.
What are your fees?
Individual therapy: $150 AUD
Relational therapy: $200 AUD
It is my aim to make sure that people can access sexual health and wellness services; as such I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots.
I’m nervous about talking about sex, can I still come?
100%. I’ve heard it all, and you don’t need to perform or know the “right” words. This is a curiosity-first, no-judgment space.
Can I come if I’m single?
Yes! Individual sessions focus on you, your desires, your body, and your relationships— whether romantic, sexual, or otherwise.
Will you tell me what I should do?
Probably not. Therapy is about exploring what feels right for you, not following someone else’s rules or expectations. While I may have helpful suggestions, I’m interested in collaborating to see what we can come up with.
How can I contact you?
Email or use the contact page. I usually respond within one business day. Not sure if therapy is right for you? No worries—our first conversation is just about seeing if LUX is a good fit.
I’m asexual or aromantic, is this for me?
Absolutely. Therapy here isn’t about sex frequency —it’s about connection, curiosity, and exploring what feels right for your body and relationships.
I feel like I’m “behind” everyone else, is that normal?
Completely. Everyone compares themselves sometimes. Therapy here is a space to explore your experiences without judgment or shame.
What makes you different?
I mix evidence-based therapy with curiosity, play, and celebration. No cookie-cutter solutions, no “shoulds.” We explore what actually works for you, in a space that honors all bodies, identities, and relationship styles.
Do you take a Mental Health Care Plan?
Unfortunately no. In an effort to keep services accessible, I set my fees in a way that is equivalent to what people tend to pay as the gap after the MHCP.
I also have provider numbers with the following private health funds: ahm, ARHG, BUPA, HCF, and Medibank.
